A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how the Rossak Sisterhood evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The case in which Valya Harkonnen uses the voice comes from an event called Mentats of Dune. All three books tie in the evolution of the Sisterhood, the Mentati, the Navigators, and the Suk doctors.
The quality was good
I find it pretty silly how many people complain about this show after a decent pilot. I would give the first episode 7.6. It wasn’t a masterpiece, but it certainly wasn’t as ugly as many of these stupid reviewers make it out to be.
NO, it’s not like Sex in the City
And YES, Benne Ghesserit’s entire mission is to manipulate bloodlines in politics. It’s been said about movies and books, so where do you give 1-5 stars? Let’s get a few more episodes out first, no!
