When Henri Guilloumet, the best pilot of Airmail, disappears in the Andes, his best friend Antoine de Saint-Exupéry decides to search for him against all odds. The author eagerly awaited the story because the little prince was in every house. The story tells of the time when he and his childhood friend Guilloumet worked at the post office between Argentina and Chile. So far so good. They are childhood friends and the same age. Now here’s the question, when it comes to age, it’s almost 20 years old. So here’s my criticism. Why would they cast Cassel, who is 57, to play a 29-year-old? Saint Ex should be 30 and that’s still OK for a 41-year-old. Diane Kruger was chosen as Cassel’s age. Aren’t there any young actors in the French film industry? So the choice of actors is good, even if they are bad. The pictures were great, but the views from the plane were unrealistic!
